Ikar "HAS" Fall Arrest Block with Automatic Descent

These devices initially work like normal fall arresters but then automatically lower the user at an approximate speed of 0.9 m/sec following activation of the centrifugal coupling. The snap hook is supplied with an inbuilt fall indicator, that allows the user to see whether the device has been encumbered by a fall.
 
  • Operates initially as conventional fall arrester, then after the fall the wearer will be automatically lowered to the ground at a speed of 0.9 m / sec.
  • Rugged, low maintenance level backup device with galvanised wire as the connector.
  • Fitted with steel rope lifeline within a rugged aluminium housing.
  • The attachment anchorage point on the fall arrest block is an open steel handle, suitable for connection via a Standard Karabiner type connector, or a Standard Karabiner type connector with an Anchorage Sling, or a Large Karabiner.
  • Available in 9mtr, 18mtr and 30mtr.
This product is not suitable for rock wall climbing.
