Ikar Bison 2 Person Controlled Descent Device with Integral Hoist Facility
Controlled Descent Device with integral hoisting facility with a 10.5mm kernmantle rope lifeline running through an aluminium cast housing.
This aluminium housed controlled descent device with integral hoisting facility is a sturdy, low maintenance device fitted with a 10.5mm kernmantle rope lifeline, terminated with aluminium double action hooks at both ends. The attachment anchorage point on the controlled descent device is a cast swivel eye ø16mm, suitable for connection.
The hoisting facility is controlled by a sprung ratchet latch which when engaged, allows the crank wheel to be used to raise a casualty so as to release the attachment device before descent.
This controlled descent device has an automatic speed regulator. The brake controlled by centrifugal forces, keeps the speed of the device constant during the descent.
